The VTU is holding a strategy/planning session to outline our goals for the next few weeks and months. 

The eviction ban in BC is about to get lifted, and accumulated rent debt means that many people will be under threat of eviction. We need to come together as a union to fight for our homes. How can we face this evictions crisis? We can only be successful in this together.

We have a plan, but we want to talk to you, our membership about how we can all fight together. We will share more information about the plan and the meeting in a follow up email later this week.

Around the world, tenants are taking direct action to effectively protect themselves against unjust actions by landlords, municipalities, and governmental agencies. This is your union, and we don't just want your input and enthusiasm, we need it. The union works because you do! Let's talk about how we will fight evictions in Vancouver!
