February General Meeting

*Open to All*
(Invite your neighbours!)

Our next General Meeting will be taking place on February 24th at 4PM at the Four Sisters Co-op at 133 Powell. It's a great place to come if you want to get involved but aren't sure where yet.

*Four Sisters is accessible by wheelchair and has a gender neutral washroom.

This month we'll be debuting the "Renter's Clinic" which is something we picked up from our friends in the LA Tenants Union. We answer questions via email all the time about the basic rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords, and the Renter's Clinic will be a space where we can go over our questions together and learn as a group about tenant rights and find out who needs extra help from our advocacy team.

The more our membership knows, the more we can pass on to others; we know that it's much harder to evict tenants that know their rights! So bring your questions however large or small.

We organize on the unceded and occupied territory of the mi ce:p kʷətxʷiləm (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

☆ Meet fellow tenants
☆ Get advocacy for your tenancy issues

☆ Childcare available (please contact us ahead of time)

The meeting agenda will be emailed to VTU members the week before the event.
