  • Forum: Protecting Affordability, Culture, History and Community

    The Vancouver Tenant's Union is hosting folks from the LA Tenants Union and the LA Poverty Department. Join them and local organizers from the Chinatown Action Group 華埠行動小組, Kathy Shimizu from the Powell Street Festival Society and WePress and others in conversation on the evening of Saturday November 25th.

    Doors at 5, event starts promptly at 5:30.

    Come to our convention the next day, Sunday November 26th, to hear more from our guests.

    Come out in solidarity for the VTU's inaugural Annual General Meeting + Convention!

    Convention Sunday Nov 26 9:30AM-5PM, Open to All

    ☆ Discussions & Educational workshops
    ☆ Housing Justice Fair 
    ☆ Snacks and coffee available in the morning, and lunch served at noon.

    Our first Annual General Meeting starts at 1 PM and is open to members of the VTU.
    ☆ Steering Committee and working group reports
    ☆ Election of the VTU Steering Committee
    ☆ Passing our Constitution and By-Laws.
